Submit to Upcoming Anthologies

Announcing MacKenzie Publishing’s next two anthologies, both about loss:

(1) stories about loss of any kind (tentative title: “SUCH A LOSS”), and

(2) stories about child loss.

The stories must be true. Previously accepted stories permitted. No poetry.

For the stories dealing with child loss, please write in the first person.

For SUCH A LOSS, creative non-fiction is permissible.

One submission per author to each anthology.

Word count: up to 5,000 words (2,000+ preferred).

Deadline: March 31 or when full.

Publication: June/July 2024.

Submit as a word document, with your name after the title, and attach your bio (up to 100 words) and promotional links at the end of the story.

Each accepted author will receive a complimentary PDF.

All royalties from the child loss anthology will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of my son Matthew.
